It's amazing how emotions can be triggered by sights in the city - or maybe there is just a congruence/confluence between things you see and the emotions you have at the time. I was walking through an underpass in Bristol and was moved emotionally by dappled sunlight/shadows on the graffiti at the entrance to this. A real fusion of the urban and pastoral. Whereas my earlier albums tended to linger on loops, there is more of an acceptance of movement and travel on this album, so you are then energised by this sight/site to keep walking to your destination.
