Every album needs a start and every day needs a beginning. Morning Dew was inspired by a cold late January morning in 2019 when I was up very early and felt cold Dew and saw the orange sunrise at about 7 am. It does also tie into memory as well. When I was little, I always used to think that winter and early spring mornings were purple and brittle. As such, this track has shades of brittle purple as well as orange.
