The album moves out of personal and into environmental territory, although DappleGrav already touched on this to some degree. In this case I was inspired by when I look out of the train window and see trees - and the way they have grown not only tells a story of the conditions they faced in different times - it also has a mathematical quality. We are reliant on trees in so many ways, but the folk memory and science they provide and describe is an important part of this.
